La perspectiva pragmática en las investigaciones sobre práctica instrumental

Resumen

Las investigaciones sobre la práctica instrumental evidencian tendencias que reflejan ciertos aspectos de la racionalidad calculada en la acción y apuntan hacia una perspectiva pragmática de compromiso personal ante las situaciones de práctica. Las sistematizaciones sobre modos intencionales de proceder en la práctica instrumental, en conexión con niveles de especialización músico-instrumental, se encuentran no solo en los resultados de estas investigaciones, sino también implícitas en los conceptos de práctica. Así, el presente artículo discute la naturaleza y el propósito de las condiciones procedimentales implícitas en los conceptos y resultados de investigaciones sobre práctica instrumental. Las implicaciones procedimentales también se presentan en las discusiones sobre la cantidad y la calidad en la práctica, justificando la existencia de niveles diferenciados de especialización músico-instrumental. El presente artículo también aborda la relación entre procedimientos y estrategias de práctica.

    Regina Antunes Teixeira dos Santos se graduó en el Bachillerato en Piano en la UFRGS y, posteriormente, realizó cursos de especialización en la Université Toulouse Le Mirail (Toulouse, Francia) y en la Universidad Ueno Gakkuen (Tokio, Japón). En 2007, completó su doctorado bajo la supervisión de la Prof. Dra. Liane Hentschke en el Programa de Posgrado en Música de la UFRGS. Sus intereses de investigación se centran en la interconexión entre la práctica instrumental y el conocimiento musical.

    iane Hentschke es Doctora en Educación Musical por la University of London, Inglaterra. Es Profesora Titular del Departamento de Música de la Universidad Federal del Rio Grande del Sul – UFRGS y Presidenta de la International Society for Music Education-ISME. Investigadora de Nivel 1 del CNPq, está desarrollando un proyecto de investigación multinacional titulado “Los Significados de la Música para Niños y Adolescentes en Actividades Musicales Escolares y No Escolares”, con sede en Estados Unidos. Tiene publicaciones de artículos científicos y capítulos de libros en el extranjero y en Brasil. Es autora de ocho libros publicados en Brasil sobre educación musical, cuatro de los cuales han sido publicados por Editora Moderna de São Paulo. A nivel internacional, ha sido invitada a dar conferencias y cursos en Inglaterra, Países Bajos, Estados Unidos, España, Hong Kong, Argentina, Chile y Venezuela.
