Níveis de engajamento em uma atividade prática de Física com aquisição automática de dados
Abstract
O objetivo desta investigação é analisar fatores que se destacam no desenvolvimento de um projeto de Iniciação Científica Júnior, envolvendo a utilização de sistemas automáticos de aquisição e tratamento de dados. No diálogo com a Teoria da Atividade, a compreensão do conceito de engajamento como uma totalidade que abarca três dimensões inter-relacionadas - comportamental, emocional e cognitiva - é reforçada. A fragmentação, por razões metodológicas, é evitada, propondo-se dois níveis de engajamento, no plano das ações e operações e no plano da atividade, nos quais estariam sempre presentes as três dimensões. Um dos professores orientadores do projeto exerceu o papel de observador participante. Foram realizadas entrevistas com os estudantes e produzidos relatórios e diários de bordo. A complexidade do sistema de aquisição de dados envolvendo o sensor de posição implicou que ele deixasse de ser um artefato mediador da atividade para se constituir como objeto da mesma. Isso resultou em repercussões significativas no grau de autonomia dada aos estudantes, em suas compreensões e posicionamentos quanto ao objeto da atividade e às ações propostas e, consequentemente, nos diferentes níveis de engajamento observados.Downloads
