Análise do Conteúdo Serpentes nos Livros Didáticos de Ciências do 7º Ano do Município de Blumenau

O presente estudo analisou o tema serpentes em três livros didáticos, publicados em 2009. Tais livros foram selecionados por serem os mais utilizados pelas escolas no município de Blumenau – SC tendo como objetivo propiciar ao professor subsídios para escolher com mais segurança seu livro didático, além de identificar problemas referentes ao tema que é desenvolvido nos livros didáticos. Foi realizada uma exímia leitura com a identificação dos problemas, sua classificação em conceitos científicos corretos, classificação não-científica e sua comparação com bibliografia científica especializada. Percebeu-se a recorrência de problemas já diagnosticados por outros autores e uma grande presença de problemas conceituais envolvendo a anatomia, identificação de serpentes e outras características referentes a sua biologia. Alguns dos problemas identificados podem causar erros no atendimento aos acidentados com serpentes peçonhentas, elevando a gravidade do problema diagnosticado. Fazem-se necessários mais trabalhos de verificação e comparação de conteúdos com bibliografia especifica a fim de propiciar aos utilizadores do livro didático segurança no conteúdo desenvolvido pelo mesmo.
