A FALTA DE COMPREENSÃO DOS OBJETIVOS E DOS PROPÓSITOS DA DISCIPLINA ARTE
Keywords:
Art Teaching, Public Policy, implementationAbstract
This article aims to discuss the educational policies in the Arts, based on the analysis of the negative comments, published on a social network, after the Federal Senate revealed, in April 2016, that the Plenary approved a law project – that had been discussed for 10 years – establishing the Visual Arts, the Theater and the Dance as mandatory languages of the Art component. The data presented here has a great mean about the Brazilian society ́s expectation, in a general sense, of the discipline and indicates some guidelines in order that the public policies in this area are (re)thought.
