Compreensão de professores de biologia sobre as interações entre ciência, tecnologia e sociedade
Abstract
A abordagem da relação Ciência/Tecnologia/Sociedade (CTS) torna-se cada vez mais necessária no ensino de Ciências, para oportunizar aos alunos a compreensão dos avanços científicos e tecnológicos de forma crítica. Porém, para a inclusão de temas contemporâneos no ensino, é importante que os professores os compreendam para que possam abordá-los de forma adequada e contextualizada aos conceitos científicos, podendo, assim, promover uma alfabetização científica e tecnológica. O objetivo desse estudo foi realizar uma investigação com professores de biologia, verificando sua compreensão sobre as interações da CTS. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se uma entrevista estruturada. Os resultados indicaram o desconhecimento das relações entre CTS, pois os professores não demonstraram uma convicção plena em suas afirmações, talvez por não conhecerem algumas definições de CT. Conclui-se que é necessária uma reorientação das práticas docentes sobre os temas abordados no contexto social contemporâneo, no que se refere à ciência e à tecnologia.Downloads
