Abstract

The work analyzes the transformations of the nursing teaching model of the Nursing Course of the Faculty of Medicine of Marília, São Paulo. It is a descriptive qualitative approach based on historical dialectic materialism. Data was collected by using a structured questionnaire and a document analysis of the pedagogical proposal. The results indicate the UNI Project as that which triggered the transformations of pedagogical practice, with the dislocation of the teaching-learning settings, a greater interaction between services, the population and the University. The conclusion is that the teaching model incorporates the paradigm of the social production of health, active teaching methodologies and adopts new strategies of academic organization.
