A construção de uma infância escolarizada: a escola na literatura infantil (1900-1935)

The research studies the representations for the school present in the literary production destined to the children, between 1900 and 1935, in Brazil. It is been studied how the texts progressively built the image of a child at school centered to the childhood work and seen as a playful place, where the apprenticeship was understood as a pleasant exercise, extended to all the children. One verifies that the texts built the image of a model school, identified as a scientific modernizing ideal whose pedagogical translation stated its elf in the escola-novistas proposals.
