Maré, mangue ou manguezal: uma análise de concepções de estudantes no Ensino Fundamental

Maré, mangue, manguezal. Diferentes formas de concepção, significações próprias. Essa pesquisa é parte de uma dissertação de mestrado e teve como objetivo investigar as principais ideias de estudantes do Ensino Fundamental I sobre manguezal, buscando caracterizar o processo de significação das mesmas a partir da teoria de Vigotski. Para isso, elaboramos uma sequência didática e a construção dos dados foi possível a partir da articulação de ideias dos estudantes relacionadas com os contextos cultural e científico. Para o registro e a análise das atividades usamos a videografia e elementos da etnografia interacional. A partir dos registros foi feita a seleção de episódios específicos e a organização dos mesmos por turnos de fala. Nos resultados, verificamos que houve progressivamente, a partir da mediação docente, um enriquecimento no vocabulário dos estudantes no que diz respeito ao uso da linguagem científica, a partir da qual podemos caracterizar pensamentos por complexos sobre o manguezal.
