Proposta de um Perfil Conceitual para Substância

Neste artigo, tivemos como objetivo propor um perfil conceitual para o conceito de substância. O perfil foi proposto a partir de um levantamento de dados em diversas fontes como: textos de História da Química, artigos na literatura em Ensino de Ciências, questionários e entrevistas semiestruturadas, aplicados a estudantes do ensino médio e superior. Essas fontes possibilitaram a constituição de um conjunto de dados representativos de três domínios genéticos: ontogenético, sociocultural e microgenético. Dados obtidos na pesquisa bibliográfica articulados àqueles da pesquisa empírica foram agrupados em categorias, que posteriormente constituíram zonas para o perfil conceitual de substância. Cada zona do perfil foi caracterizada por compromissos epistemológicos e ontológicos distintos e as seguintes zonas foram propostas: generalista, essencialista, substancialista, racionalista e relacional.
