The aim of this article is to know the way teachers build their teaching identities, along their personal and professional life course. We have used fragments from a teachers life history, as a way of understanding the process of teachers identity construction. In a narrow sense, we intended to identify and to analyse those identity traits built and rebuilt by the teacher herself in the long run of her professional career (her choice, initial formative years, professional practice and improvement) talking into consideration the context in which all the above mentioned all the above mentioned aspects tooke place.
