A inserção do Grupo De Estudos E Pesquisa Sobre Educação Superior- GEPES- no contexto do mestrando em educação: políticas públicas

This paper analyses the contribution of the Group of Master on Education: Public in the largest university of the Amazon Region, the Federal University of Pará - UFPA. Having as a core the abstracts of twenty two theses presented in the period of November, 1996 to April, 2002 we intend to register our experience as a research member of this group, professor and adviser of graduate students of the course who took the Superior Education as the object. Starting from the relationship among teaching, mainly the meaning of the written production of the meaning of the course of Master on Education: Public Policies of UFPA. Presenting a approximation as an alternative answer to that issue implies and require a previous visibility to two basic questions: How can the recent production of this group be characterized? And how does it relate to the course? Answering the questions above is the purpose of this paper.
