The paper focuses on the work of contemporary Rio de Janeiro artist Gabriela Mureb and the dialogue that it establishes with modern industrial technology. Based on ideas from thinkers such as Yuk Hui and Gilbert Simondon, an attempt is made to present Mureb's noisy machines and performances as products and producers of unique critical tensions with technicality, tensions that put into play concepts such as humanity and technical nature, gesture and work, energy expenditure and exhaustion, duration and experiential thickness, creation and destruction.
