This article gives basic information about the 35 researchers grouped in the Mexican section of ESTRADO. Basides our electronic affiliation, we have found it necessary to meet personally as a group in order to discuss our research interests. One such meeting is reported here; several researchers´ personal routes of researching teachers´ work and teachers´ worlds are discussed as a way of socializing common problems and of defining the profiles of teachers´ work as an academic field of study. A selected bibliography of our publications concludes the piece.
