Anões, chads e nazipardos: as estratégias de nomeação e predicação no discurso da direita-alternativa no Brasil

Resumo

O 4chan é um fórum digital conhecido pela forte presença de movimentos de direita-alternativa (Nagle, 2017; Tuters, 2018). Neste artigo, a partir da abordagem histórico-discursiva (Wodak; Reisigl, 2016) dos estudos críticos do discurso (Wodak; Meyer, 2016), apresentamos um breve estudo quali-quantitativo sobre esse fórum em duas partes: em primeiro lugar, discutimos processos de inovação lexical que ocorrem endemicamente nesse tipo de ambiente digital e, em segundo, apresentamos um panorama que expõe os termos mais recorrentes na nomeação e predicação de atores sociais representados no discurso nessa plataforma, em um corpus de 3.675 comentários. A partir desses exemplos, selecionamos casos que representam alguns dos processos de inovação vernacular mais produtivos, nomeadamente, o desbotamento semântico (Peeters et al., 2021), os blends morfológicos e os significantes flutuantes (Tuters; Hagen, 2020). A este último, dedicamos uma discussão mais detida a partir das instâncias reveladas no corpus deste estudo. Concluímos, a partir desses dados, que o ambiente é altamente profícuo no uso de jogos de linguagem para representação de atores sociais tomados como antagonísticos, reproduzindo discursos marcadamente racistas, antissemitas e transfóbicos.
