Docência no Ensino Superior: as disciplinas Parasitologia e Microbiologia na formação de professores de Biologia

Estudos recentes têm problematizado a docência em nível superior, sobretudo em relação à formação pedagógica dos docentes. Pesquisadores em EC apontam como uma das características deste ensino a descontextualização dos conteúdos. Entretanto, questões referentes à docência em biologia pouco têm sido investigadas. O presente estudo, com caráter exploratório, investiga concepções e práticas docentes expressas em ementas e planos de ensino das disciplinas Microbiologia e Parasitologia, lecionadas em quatorze universidades públicas, utilizando a Análise Textual Discursiva. Os resultados sugerem forte viés médico, abordagem disciplinar e conceitual, ausência de história e filosofia das ciências nos conteúdos propostos e concepções de ensino pouco afinadas com as orientações dos documentos oficiais, particularmente os referentes às licenciaturas. Isto sugere que as atuais práticas docentes se distanciam de uma abordagem contextualizada e problematizadora do atual quadro de agravos à saúde, causados por organismos parasitas. São localizados ainda outros problemas que demandam investigações referentes às práticas docentes.
