Pesquisas em Ensino de Ciências com Metodologia Interventiva: O que Fazem os Pesquisadores da Área?

Este artigo analisa, por meio de dois movimentos complementares, uma metodologia amplamente utilizada nas pesquisas em Ensino de Ciências conhecida por ‘intervenção didática’. Primeiramente, discutimos dois referenciais estrangeiros comumente associados a esse tipo de pesquisa, um com ênfase metodológica, conhecido como Pesquisa Baseada em Design (DBR), e outro que tem filiação teórica com a Teoria da Atividade Histórico-Cultural e suas implicações metodológicas, denominado Intervenção Formativa (IF). No segundo movimento, investigamos as publicações científicas do último quinquênio (2012–2017) publicadas em periódicos nacionais da área. O objetivo que nos mobilizou nessa incursão foi caracterizar o uso dessa metodologia por parte desses autores, descrevendo suas concepções a respeito desse método de pesquisa. Examinamos o corpus segundo os procedimentos da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), resultando na emergência de três categorias que representam os objetivos gerais comuns para uso desta técnica: testar a implementação de estratégias de ensino inspiradas em teorias, validar materiais didáticos inovadores ou promover interferências nas práticas profissionais dos sujeitos investigados.
