FOR A DANCE THAT IS NOT "POPULAR"
SOME TRACKS ON THE QUESTION OF HIERARCHIES IN DANCE

The proposed article seeks to analyse the issue of hierarchies in dance and thus discussing the importance of thinking dance as culture from the idea of context and local epistemologies. To do so, the text starts from the question: «how to operate with non- hierarchizations in our speeches about dance». I use the context category to structure the notion that each mode of production in dance has a logic that is particular and incomparable.
